Azerbaijan is to introduce a new tariff mechanism for public transport.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Cabinet Ministers’ report for 2020.

The document says that progressive international experience will be taken into account when developing the new tariff.

Currently, preparatory work is underway to improve the legislation on preferential and non-cash use of public transport.

The cost of transportation services is now determined by the Tariff Council.
