The 8th Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport exhibition Road & Traffic 2018 will be held from 11th to 13th June in Baku Expo Center. The Road & Traffic exhibition aims to present the latest achievements in the field of road and tunnel construction, showcase the introduction of modern information technologies in traffic regulation and the newest solutions in the field of road safety, meanwhile providing a platform for a meeting of the manufacturers and operators of public transport. Road & Traffic is one of the largest specialised exhibitions of the region, which is highly valued by professionals of transport and road construction industries, since it covers all aspects of road infrastructure development.

The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku Transport Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Azerbaijan Republic (AEC).

Companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Poland, Russia, Republic of Belarus, Turkey, USA, Slovakia (for the first time) and other countries will present services for road and tunnel design and construction, road safety means, road building and communal machinery, road marking equipment, road electronic monitors, software for urban planning, new models of city buses and much more. Baku Transport Agency, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads and the State Road Transport Service will participate at the exhibition. The list of exhibition participants has been extended to include a number of debutants; among them are Maxina TST (Belarus), Paya Tadbir Pakan (Iran), Pietrucha (Poland), SORB Group (Russia) and Molpir (Slovakia). Manufacturers from the Yaroslavl Region (Russia) will also take part in the exhibition with their own stand for the first time.

Exhibitors will demonstrate the full range of products and services for the construction and maintenance of roads: design, geosynthetic materials for construction, road paving equipment, intelligent transportation systems for traffic flow control, road barriers, new models of GAZ buses and much more.

The Road & Traffic 2018 exhibition will create ideal conditions to meet with the heads and experts of the region’s leading road construction companies, to get acquainted with current and future plans of the government in the field of optimization of the public transport in Baku and other cities of Azerbaijan.

As part of this year’s business programme, the State Automobile Transport Service will conduct a conference at Baku Expo Centre (Room № 22). The theme of the conference is “New Road Plan of the Transport Service”. There is a plan to sign co-operation memorandums between the State Automobile Transport Service and higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan at the end of the conference.

Moreover, bilateral B2B meetings will be hosted on the second day of the exhibition to provide participants with an additional opportunity to meet with leading local companies, where they can present and discover new products and services, explore new business opportunities, find potential customers and exchange their business experiences.

The exhibition Road & Traffic 2018 will take place alongside the 17th Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition TransCaspian/Translogistica 2018. Iteca Caspian has always supported the development of hand-craftsmanship. A surprise to visitors is the exhibition of handworks by Azerbaijan master Rovshan Ansari. The stand includes demonstration models of ships of different classes, ages and origins, and different models of locomotives and aircrafts.

The organisers of exhibitions hosted a business breakfast for the exhibition participants. The aim of the business breakfast was to help participants benefit from the opportunities created at the exhibitions more efficiently. The business breakfast was led by a professional coach from Alpha Coaching and Consulting, Fidan Azimli, who was invited by the organisers. During the business breakfast, the main issues with regard to the organisation of stands were touched upon, and a formula for successful participation at the exhibitions was presented. The organisers hope that the companies will use all advice during their participation at the exhibitions.

The organisers of TransCaspian/Translogistica and Road & Traffic are Iteca Caspian and ITE Group. Among the partners Iteca Caspian in 2018, the tour operator "Premier Tour", the official hotel "Qafqaz Point Hotel" and "Hyatt Regency". This year the organisers have started to cooperate with the network of kindergartens Bagcam.az that will create a children's playground at the exhibition, where children can be safely left while parents are busy with visiting the exhibition stands. Children's Playground will be located in the foyer of Baku Expo Center. Here professional educators and teachers from Bagcam.az will take care of your children and will entertain them with educational games, as well as various useful and exciting activities. For professional visitors, the exhibitions are open from the 11th to the 13th June, for students - on 13 June.
