For almost thirty years, I have been working on pedestrian safety in the Surakhani district of Baku. I also conduct road safety courses for school-age children. Naturally, I am a regular visitor of the “Road & Traffic” exhibition, which is always an important professional event for me.
This year, the exhibition features numerous organizations and companies offering solutions in road safety. In particular, the stand of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan attracted special attention. It showcases various equipment and traffic control tools — traffic lights, radars, pedestrian movement solutions, and more.
An interesting proposal was also presented by a company from Uzbekistan. Their pedestrian crossing point-lighting system caught the attention not only of me but also of other exhibition visitors. I was particularly impressed by this project, especially in terms of schoolchildren education. We inform participants of our road safety courses about all innovations and modern equipment.
Overall, I would like to note that the exhibition once again demonstrated its relevance and necessity. As in previous years, the large volume of information presented here is already being applied in everyday life.
