Recykl is a Polish company that is bringing a worldwide scale revolution to road construction in terms of price, ecological aspects, and durability of roads. We are a recycler of tires, recycling 5% of tires in the whole of Europe. So, we are a big player. Tires are composed of metal, rubber and textiles, and we are recovering textiles from tires, which are very strong fibers. Nobody is using those fibers in a practical way, sending them to waste. We found a way to use the textiles as a special reinforcing additive for road construction, because they are very strong and resistant to heat. We have patented this invention. We are processing 140,000 tons of tires every year and selling our products to Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, India, etc. Innovative companies take this product on board very fast.
Here in Azerbaijan, there is a dedicated entity that collects tires across Azerbaijan, so, recycling could be arranged for producing the mentioned additive domestically, as we also export production lines along with expertise.
It is the first time we are participating in the Road and Traffic exhibition. It caught our interest because we know generally that this region is actively building roads, and the cellulose-based technology applied here requires this type of an additive. Our fibers are playing the same role of a stabilizer, as well as a reinforcer. With this material, roads can be constructed cheaper, faster, and will be more durable.
Our exhibition booth has been approached by companies collecting tires, by road-construction companies, owners of mixing plants, and distributors who are selling different sealants, additives, chemical products for road construction.
We expect to get even more contacts and communication, and we hope to come back here for further discussion to continue because we see a lot of interest in cooperation. Honestly speaking, we feel like the exhibiting practice in Europe is declining, perhaps, because their economy is old, and everyone knows everyone, and nobody is looking for new contacts. Here, the scope of the event is much larger than at a similar exhibition in Italy, there is more investment in booths and many more visitors, and that is encouraging.
